WHO WE ARE
CICOM is a creative arts collaborative partnership between CRC Bible College (a college located in Harrow, boasting a long-established Bible School Institution in the UK), and Canopy Music. Together they provide an innovative ministerial and entrepreneurial business system integrating a bespoke music and instrumentation tuition program locally and globally.
CICOM looks forward to introducing new and enhance courses using innovative approaches to the creative arts. We look forward having you be part of this motivational institution.
CICOM Institute of Contemporary Music is easily accessible by bus and rail, 5-minutes walk from Rayners Lane Underground Station.
WHAT WE DO
CICOM delivers accredited classical music courses and exams (grade 1-8) that also incorporates tried and tested contemporary play-by-ear learning systems, giving the best teaching solution suitable for training musicians who want to master both classical theory and improvisational skills. This allows musicians to acquire rapid multiple-skilled development in a dynamic and professional inclusive learning environment. In CICOM courses, homework plays a significant part in student development ensuring skill embedding and dexterous muscle memory. To enable student mastery in fundamental instrumentation skills, band and solo playing and accompanying songs. All students are encouraged to have access to an instrument or to acquire their own instruments for personal practice to have access to any CICOM programs. CREATIVITY TO FORGE COMMUNITY
CICOM aim and objectives is to provide integrated services directly to charities and community groups, with the purpose of supporting and facilitating services to organisations that promote social engagement and interaction. CICOM feels that creativity is an effective method of achieving these ends
